The community gateways committee fully recognizes that the community and visitor experience of a downtown is often impacted by the quality of the building facades and the other architectural elements that are encountered along the way. Streetscaping elements are the architectural, landscaping, transportation, and signage that enhance the quality, safety, and prosperity of the downtown experience.

One approach we are taking to help beautify our downtown streetscape is to organize, fund, and deliver high-quality and representative building murals on our landmark spaces. These murals will be beautiful and represent the culture, history, values, and environment of the Hustisford community.

We engaged the community to solicit ideas from residents for mural ideas and received 9 amazing submissions. While we intend to use many of the ideas submitted, we decided to get started
